Dumont Jets has added IS-BAO Stage 2 to its Wyvern Wingman status, according to announcement by the Part 135 charter operator.
IS-BAO stands for International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations.
Stage 1 confirms that the SMS (safety management system) infrastructure is established and that safety management activities are appropriately targeted. It requires all supporting standards have been established.
IS-BAO Stage 2 ensures that safety management activities are appropriately targeted and that safety risks are being effectively managed.
“We are proud to be recognized as a Stage 2 IS-BAO Registered Company,” says Joe Martin, Dumont’s chief business officer.
He added, “This not only validates our great team of professionals who make flying with Dumont an experience like no other, but it demonstrates our commitment to safety – when you fly with Dumont you are flying one of the safest fleets in the world.”
Dumont covers a wide range of business aviation services, including private jet sales, management, maintenance repair and overhaul.
Its Santos Jet Card starts at 25 hours. Dumont gained attention in 2018 when it bought over 25 Dassault Falcon 2000s being retired from NetJets. It refurbished the large-cabin jets and uses them for on-demand charter and jet card flights.
