With COVID-19 still impacting the tourism industry, GlobeAir says it is filling the gap left by airliners, which are expected to operate only 40% of their usual number by January.
The Austrian very light jet operator says preferred routes, including London City-Amsterdam, Geneva-Paris, and Munich-Hamburg can now be booked via the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) used by travel agents and corporate travel planners. The connectivity is powered by WorldTicket (WT), according to a press release.

GlobeAir flights will be listed under the W2 IATA code and will now be distributed to more than 550,000 travel providers worldwide including Skyscanner, Expedia and Opodo.

Around seven out of ten airline tickets are sold via GDS worldwide.
