The founder and CEO of private jet provider Wheels Up was named to the list of leaders who are actively seeking to help New Yorkers and make the city and state a better place

Wheels Up founder and CEO Kenny Dichter was named to City & State’s Responsible 100 list.

He told the website, “The Wheels Up team, along with our network of members, customers, investors, and ambassadors, are committed to lending our support to philanthropic organizations that truly matter to us. I am very proud of our Wheels Up Cares program where we custom paint aircraft to serve as flying symbols of the causes we care deeply about.”

He added, “It is heartbreaking to see how the global pandemic is devastating families. I was inspired by watching how people were helping their neighbors. Wheels Up created Meals Up with our partners and Ambassadors Russell and Ciara Wilson. We partnered with Feeding America to help address the growing need.”

The company has been a long supporter of various philanthropic endeavors through Wheels Up Cares. In January, Dichter was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 17th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards.
