Vista Global Part 135 operator XOJET Aviation is enrolling 15 Challenger 300 aircraft on a specialized 10-year term engine maintenance program with Jet Support Services, Inc. XOJET provides a fleet of 45 Bombardier Challenger 300 and Citation X super-midsize programs for XO’s jet card programs and on-demand charter solutions.
JSSI programs provide maintenance support on an hourly cost basis. They will give XOJET a comprehensive, flexible, and affordable tool for managing the often unpredictable maintenance costs.
“COVID-19 has created a boom in private charter as travelers seek solutions that reduce risk exposure to the virus. As they meet this influx of new customers, charter operators require a predictable maintenance budget, complete transparency into all outgoing costs, and the assurance of limited aircraft downtime,” said Ash Reddy, vice president of global strategy and corporate development at JSSI.
“These are all areas where JSSI can add significant value and we are excited about the opportunity to partner with XOJET Aviation as they continue to strategically expand their operations,” added Reddy.
“We promise customers who are booking flights with XO that we will be ready for them to fly anytime and anywhere they wish. In 2020, inquiries for charter flights more than doubled, and Challenger aircraft have been in high demand. In order to be able to provide consistent operational service, reliability is critical in choosing a maintenance partner, and this is why we decided to work with JSSI,” said Kevin Thomas, president and chief operating officer at XOJET Aviation.
XOJET Aviation will be assigned a complete technical and client services support team from JSSI. They will support the fleet’s 30 Honeywell AS907-1-1A engines in operation across the US, Bahamas, and Mexico.
