Jet The World, which recently began accepting cryptocurrency for on-demand charters and jet cards, has already sold a jet card via the new currency. The six-figure purchase was for a 25-hour jet card membership. The company says the transaction was verified in under 24 hours.
“We started accepting Crypto to align with the current trends within the global cryptocurrency economy and to provide our customers with an additional vehicle for security, privacy, and control of personal and sensitive information,” says Jet The World CEO and founder, R.J. LaSasso.
The broker accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin via Coinbase Commerce. Invoices contain a link inside where the buyer clicks. It takes them to the payment splash page. There they can choose 1-click pay via their Coinbase account, send crypto from other wallets to that BTC address. Alternatively, they can scan the QR code.
Coinbase powers Coinbase Commerce. According to Jet The World, the Commerce platform is where the P2P exchange will happen, and then will be withdrawn to the personal Coinbase account, and from there will be withdrawn again to the bank account, and if need be, funds can stay in Coinbase.
Dogecoin payments will be processed through BitPay.
To promote the option, Jet The World is attending Bitcoin2021 in Miami in June.
