With 27 large and super-midsize private joining its fleet by early 2022, Jet Edge is accelerating jet card sales with a fly FET-free promotion.
The 7.5% credit applies to its Black tier Reserve jet cards, which require a deposit of at least $500,000.
The program is refundable. The FET-free promotion, which harkens back to the CARES Act waiver of last year, is delivered in the form of credit.
If you deposit $500,000, you get a $37,500 credit. If you deposit $2 million, you can save $150,000 in-flight costs via the FET credit. The deal is valid through Dec. 31, 2021.
Chief business officer Steve Malvesta says the promo celebrates Jet Edge breaking the $100 million sales mark this year for its jet card.
The jet card program is as available. It offers both capped rates in large and super-midsize jets and discounted transcontinental pricing in large-cabin jets.
Reserve is one of a few active programs that offer fixed/capped hourly rates to Hawaii.
Until launching Reserve earlier this year, Jet Edge focused mainly on the wholesale market.
It has quickly become a force in the direct-to-consumer market in the large and super mid categories.
In September, Jet Edge scored a $40 million investment from KKR.
