Vista Global has formed Vista America as an umbrella for its U.S. charter operators.

According to a press release, Vista America will operate the Vista Members’ fleet in the United States for VistaJet and XO clients.

The fleet includes Jet Select, Western Air Charter, XOJet Aviation, and Red Wing Aviation.

Dubai-based Vista has non-controlling minority ownership in the operators per restrictions on foreign control of air carriers.

Jet Select and Western Air Charter are the formal names of the operators that were part of its Jet Edge acquisition in 2022.

In 2018, it acquired XOJet, splitting the brokerage into its current XO unit.

Red Wing Aviation came via a 2020 acquisition.

The new structure launches Nov. 1.

Vista America names President

David Stanley, a 20-year veteran of Collins Aerospace, was named President of the new unit.

According to the announcement, “The formation of Vista America is a strategic step that will support the group’s continued investment in the U.S. market and represents a refinement of its branding in the region. Vista America will enable the company to maximize clarity, both within the organization and externally, and provide its clients with a seamless and consistent experience.”

Vista Global Chief Operating Officer Nick van der Meer says, “We are delighted to welcome David Stanley to Vista as the President of Vista America. David is a highly respected industry leader with a deep understanding of the private aviation market. He is the ideal person to lead Vista America as we continue to grow our business in the United States.”

Stanley adds, “The Vista Group is a world-class organization with a commitment to providing its clients with the best possible private aviation solutions. I look forward to working with the talented team at Vista America as we continue to grow the business and deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

The group has over 4,200 employees across 36 offices worldwide, 21 in the U.S.

Both its VistaJet and XO units offer jet cards and memberships.

Leona Qi continues to lead the sales and marketing side of VistaJet and XO as President of the Americas.
