VistaJet is now offering domestic on-fleet flights within the United Kingdom.

The Vista Global brand brought a Cessna Citation XLS aircraft with VistaJet silver and red livery to the U.K.

It is being operated by Saxon Air, which holds an operating certificate there.

Saxon Air will operate the aircraft in the U.K. on behalf of VistaJet.

After Brexit, companies without a U.K. charter operating certificate could no longer conduct domestic flights there.

Chief Operating Officer Nic van der Meer says, “Welcoming this Citation XLS onto a U.K. Certificate, in partnership with Saxon Air, allows us to offer domestic services on the Vista Members’ fleet.”

He adds, “This not only enhances our ability to meet short-notice demand, but also strengthens our scheduling flexibility, ensuring we continue to deliver seamless, end-to-end travel for our clients throughout the UK and beyond.”

Saxon Air CEO Alex Durand adds, “We are delighted to be working with VistaJet to enhance its UK presence.”

He notes, “Saxon Air’s understanding of UK operations and VistaJet’s global reach and leading client service standards will create new dynamic opportunities.”

Durand continues, “It’s also a great boost to the UK register to be adding such a popular aircraft type and reflects the strong demand for business aviation that continues to be seen in this country.”

VistaJet said it has seen increasing demand for domestic flights from and between London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Cambridge, Reading, and Milton Keynes.

Key industries included financial services, legal, healthcare, technology, life sciences, engineering, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and more.

The U.K. had 98,000 private jet departures last year, according to VistaJet.

It said nearly half of all private flights originated from London area airports: Luton, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, and Stansted.
