Private aviation safety advocacy group Air Charter Safety Foundation is bolstering its executive team

The Air Charter Safety Foundation announced several leadership changes.

Robert Rufli, a veteran of Signature Flight Support, Landmark Aviation, and Pentastar, joins ACSF as Director of Operations.

Todd Weeber, COO of Magellan Jets, is Chair of the Board of Governors. GrandView Aviation President Jessie Naor becomes Vice-Chair, and USAIG CEO John Brogan is Treasurer. Rufli was previously Chair of the Board of Governors.

In the newly created operations role, Rufli will be responsible for maintaining the ACSF Safety Management System Toolkit. The program was launched last year.

Additionally, he will support the ACSF’s programs. That includes its Industry Audit Standard, the Aviation Safety Action Program, and Flight Data Monitoring services.

“We’re extremely lucky to have an aviation leader of his caliber in such an important role on our team,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns.

The Air Charter Safety Foundation is a non-profit organization. According to the group, its mission is to lead and support the advancement of the highest safety standards available; to enable the business, charter, and fractional ownership industry to offer the safest air transportation products in the world; and to provide objective information about these standards and services to the public.
