FlyExclusive taps ex-NetJets CFO as finance chief

Former NetJets CFO Brent Smith is back in private aviation as the finance head for fast-growing FlyExclusive

FlyExclusive has named Brent Smith as Chief Financial Officer.

Smith brings nearly 25 years of expertise, including 17 years with NetJets, where he served as CFO from 2009 through 2015.

He subsequently was finance boss at Crossmark and Air Methods, the latter a $1.5 billion healthcare company.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brent Smith to the FyExclusive family. His decades of expertise in private aviation will help to take flyExclusive to new heights,” said Founder and CEO Jim Segrave.

He added, “Pursuing the industry’s top talent is critical to our company’s growth, and we look forward to Brent’s leadership in driving operational efficiencies.”

“I am honored to join FlyExclusive and bring my years of leadership experience to the business,” said Smith.

He added, “There is a great growth opportunity for the brand across its Jet Club, fractional ownership and Maintenance, Repairs and Overhaul business divisions, and I look forward to being part of the strategy and execution along that journey.”

Segrave recently added the CEO title.
