Fly Alliance said it ordered 20 new private jets from Textron Aviation, the second fleet order of the day after FlyExclusive announced an order early this morning.
The Fly Alliance purchase includes 12 Cessna Citation XLS+ Gen 2s, six Citation Latitudes, and two Citation Longitudes.
Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2023.
“We want to reiterate to our valued customers that no matter what kind of trip you are taking, we have the perfect jet for you,” said Kevin Wargo, CEO and Co-Founder of Fly Alliance.
He added, “We believe that not only can our customers continue to choose a luxury jet that suits their needs, but it will also elevate their overall private flying experience.”
“We couldn’t be happier to support our membership community with this platform of new domestic manufactured aircraft,” said Christopher Tasca, the operator’s president.
The Florida and Rhode Island-based provider offers on-demand charter, jet memberships, and aircraft sales and management.
It had been selling fractional shares in preowned jets.
The company did not say how it plans to sell these new aircraft.
Last year it ranked as the 18th largest charter/fractional operator in North America.
