OneFlight’s JetCard Membership 2.0 is a $100,000 deposit and is being offered for a limited time.
Denver-based jet card seller OneFlight International, known for its celebrity-laden BAJIT television commercials, has launched a new promotional jet card program.
The move comes as a slew of new and updated programs hit the market.
Like the BAJIT program, the new JetCard Membership 2.0 offers clients specific hourly rates. There are over 70 different private aircraft types, from turboprops to ultra-long-haul jets.
Unlike the flagship offering, which is pay-as-you-go, JetCard 2.0 is a straight deposit program.
The minimum deposit is $100,000, and you get a 12-month rate lock.
Funds never expire; however, you pay $2,500 to keep them alive after one year.
OneFlight is offering a $10,000 credit for its program’s first 20 new members.
There is no membership or joining fees.
The new program will be particularly attractive for flyers requiring less than 25 hours of flight time per year – the entry point for the BAJIT program.
While the hourly rates of JetCard Membership 2.0 are $800 per hour, higher than the BAJIT membership, it’s still cheaper.
BAJIT requires paying $15,000 to join and then $50,000 to fly up to 25 hours at the lower rates. That would now be $1,200 per hour more than its new offer.
Executive Vice President of Sales Mark Dismuke tells Private Jet Card Comparisons the new 2.0 offer is limited time to gain new customers.
