U.K.-based private jet charter broker 365 Aviation will begin clearing its jet card waitlist starting in September.
365 Aviation will reopen its fixed-rate, guaranteed jet card sales beginning in September.
Business Development Director Simon Gibson tells Private Jet Card Comparisons the broker sees an easing in capacity constraints as the traditional summer surge winds down.
Last year 365 launched its fixed-rate product on light and midsize jets.
It offers several options, including deicing and varying callouts.
Clients who are flexible to book at least a week in advance and don’t need short-term changes or extras like deicing can save up to $1,500 per hour.
“The traditional fixed-rate jet card user who can book in advance, doesn’t change their flights, or isn’t flying where you need deicing subsidizes those clients who do,” says Gibson.
He says while the boutique broker saw strong demand for its approach, it started a waitlist leading into the summer.
“The availability wasn’t going to be there, and we don’t want to offer something we can’t deliver,” he says.
Despite its card product, Gibson says on-demand charters from customers with specific needs in terms of aircraft types, vintage, and so forth remain the core of its business.
