Start-up broker Amalfi Jets is moving from fixed hourly rates to capped rates on its jet cards and memberships.
Amalfi Jets is moving to capped hourly rates on its jet card and membership programs.
The company had previously offered fixed hourly rates.
Capped rates mean flyers know the highest price they will pay per hour, and then the provider offers to pass on some amount of savings if they can attain lower prices sourcing the trip.
“We want to provide dynamic pricing on our flights to ensure our clients are getting the best deal possible. There’s a big misconception in the industry that it is clients against their providers. However, through our dynamic pricing offering, we want to show our cardholders that we are always working on their behalf to save them the most amount of money possible. Given our extensive operator relationships, we aim to use partnerships to the benefit of our clients, as we are all on the same team,” says Amalfi Jets CEO Kolin Jones.
The company says it was recently able to save a customer $45,000, or about 33% compared to its published fixed rates.
