By-the-seat private jet flight provider JSX is adding flights from Morristown, New Jersey to Boca Raton and Miami.
JSX is launching seasonal by-the-seat flights using private terminals from Morristown, New Jersey, to Boca Raton and Miami.
Flights from Morristown to Boca Raton begin on Dec. 21 and operate through March.
Prices start at $689 per seat each way.
Flights operate Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Southbound flights depart at 2:50 p.m., arriving at BCT at 6:05 p.m.
Northbound departures from BCT are at 12:40 p.m., arriving in New Jersey at 3:50 p.m.
Flights to Miami Opa Locka Executive Airport operate on the same days of the week.
Southbound departure time is 4:30 p.m., arriving at OPF at 7:45 p.m.
Northbound flights leave Miami at 11 a.m., returning to MMU at 2:10 p.m.
The new routes follow JSX’s recent focus on airports without scheduled airline flights.
It is now using OPF instead of Miami International Airport.
It is also moved from San Diego International Airport to McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, California.
The FAA is considering new rules that JSX says would jeopardize its future.
It accuses American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and their unions of being behind the possible changes.
Last week, seven industry groups joined JSX in opposition.
JSX has proved popular with flyers, enabling them to avoid crowded airport terminals.
Flyers can check-in up to 20 minutes before departures.
Inflight service includes free drinks, snacks, and high-speed WiFi.
