Northern Jet makes operations promotions

Following last year’s merger with SpeedBird, Northern Jet Management has made multiple promotions to its operations team.

Following its merger with SpeedBird last year, Northern Jet has made several promotions and changes to its operations team.

According to a press release, “These changes mark a strategic move to strengthen operational efficiency and enhance leadership capabilities within the company following its merger with SpeedBird in May 2023.”

Jeff Gauger is the new vice president of operations.

He is an 18-year Northern Jet veteran who previously served as director of operations.

Northern Jet Chief Pilot Greg Mangione moves to the director of Gauger’s former spot.

Shawn Peterson goes from director to vice president of maintenance for Northern Jet.

SpeedBird Director of Maintenance Derek Craig now takes that role at the combined company.

Also, Peter Redder is the new Chief Pilot for the Northern Jet Part 135 certificate.

Redder brings five years of experience to Northern Jet Management as an assistant chief pilot.

He is typed in Northern Jet’s Learjet and Hawker fleets.

Northern Jet offers both jet cards and preowned fractional shares.
