Private jet subsidiary of Qatar Airways, Qatar Executive, is adding eight more G700s to its 15 G650ER fleet.
Qatar Executive received its first two new Gulfstream G700 aircraft.
It becomes the first commercial operator of the newest ultra-long-range jet from Gulfstream Aerospace.
The subsidiary of Qatar Airways expects eight more G700s “in the near future.”
According to the private jet flight provider, the third and fourth aircraft are expected to arrive “within weeks.”
The G700 fleet will enter commercial service in June, and the operator is already taking charter client requests.
The order was announced in 2019 during NBAA.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said, “Today we welcome the industry’s highest performance ultra-long-range business jet, Gulfstream G700 aircraft, to the Qatar Executive fleet.”
The new jets will fly alongside its existing fleet of 15 G650ER aircraft.
“Qatar Executive has been a valued Gulfstream customer for nearly 10 years. We are honored to have them as our international partners for the launch and first deliveries of the all-new G700. We look forward to growing their fleet in the months ahead,” said Gulfstream President Mark Burns.
The G700 passenger cabin has four living areas, including a dedicated private rear stateroom with a permanent fixed bed.
In addition to a quieter cabin, 100% fresh air is replenished every two to three minutes, and an ionizing system for the cabin air.
A Qatar Executive G700 will be displayed at the 2024 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, EBACE2024, starting May 28th.
