The General Dynamics-owned private jet management provider Jet Aviation now has over 50 aircraft in its U.S. charter fleet.
Jet Aviation has added 16 aircraft to the company’s Part 135 charter certificate in the U.S. this year.
It has also added 39 aircraft under management.
“We are delighted to have welcomed these 39 new aircraft and owners into our fleet this year,” says David Dalpiaz, vice president of flight services.
He added, “Our experience managing aircraft of all sizes, either operating Part 91, Part 125, Part 135, or Bermuda and Cayman Islands, means that we are able to tailor our offering to meet the needs of any owner and ensure a seamless service that evolves with their aircraft ownership journey.”
The new charter aircraft include a range of mid-size to ultra-long-range aircraft.
That includes a Praetor 600, Hawker 900XP, Gulfstream G500 and G600.
Vice President of Owner & Charter Services Leslie Cheshier said, “Our charter customers trust us to understand their needs and provide solutions that enable them to get wherever they need to be, however they need to get there. These additions, alongside our existing fleet of some 55 aircraft in the U.S. and hundreds more via our partners, ensure that we continue to offer customers the choices that make their journey effortless.”
Jet Aviation currently manages over 300 aircraft globally.
It is a unit of General Dynamics, the same company that owns Gulfstream Aerospace.
Its offerings in private aviation include aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, FBO, maintenance, and staffing.
