The rotor division of Flexjet renewed its top-level certification from Wyvern Wingman. Both Sentient Jet and FXAir customer have access.
The helicopter division of Flexjet has again secured its Wyvern Wingman certification after a successful audit in November 2024.
“At Flexjet, safety is a top priority, and Wyvern’s decision to certify our helicopter operations once again confirms that,” said Flexjet Helicopter Division President Eli Flint.
He added, “As a safety leader in the private aviation industry, we are proud to display the Wyvern certificate at our helicopter headquarters in Stratford, Connecticut.”
The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, a review of the company’s operational history and safety records, a Safety Management System (SMS), an internal evaluation program, an administrative structure, technical manuals documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.
“We congratulate Flexjet for renewing Wingman certification, which validates their effective safety management system and excellence in managing operations and aircraft maintenance. Wingman Operators stand out among their peers by allowing Wyvern to assess their conformity to best practices and continually monitor their information related to safety,” says Wyvern SVP Andrew Day.
Both customers of FXAir and Sentient Jet have access to the Flexjet helicopter
