Montreal is the second office in Canada for Air Charter Service. Separately it set a record for charitable donations.
Montreal marks the second Canadian office for global private jet charter broker Air Charter Service.
The new office adds to its location in Toronto.
It is its 36th office worldwide.
Canada CEO Gary Hopkins says, “We have been serving the whole of Canada from our Toronto office since opening there 15 years ago, but we’ve been looking at Montreal as a second location for a while now to better serve Quebec.”
He adds, “The city is an important center of commerce, finance, industry, and technology, and the new operation means that we can be closer to our French-speaking clients in the province.”
Adila Djerrar, who joined the company more than three years ago and has seven years of experience in the airline and travel industries, will head up the office.
Djerrar says, “I can’t wait to get started here and continue the work that my team and I have been doing over the past few months in preparation and the expansion that we have planned to make Montreal another successful Canadian Air Charter Service office.”
In February, Air Charter Service added a Milan office in Italy.
The U.K.-based private jet flight provider set a record for charitable contributions.
Its charity committees worldwide have helped raise over $200,000 for charitable causes through challenges, volunteering, raffles, and other activities.
Director of CESR Lloyd Robinson notes, “The worldwide team has really outdone themselves this year, with a range of physical challenges, including five km races, half and full marathons, the UK Three Peaks challenge, climbing Kilimanjaro and a virtual run covering the full distance from one side of the United States, to the other, around 3,000 miles.”
He adds, “The raffles held at our Christmas parties raised a record amount, $42,000, and combined with various bake sales and other fundraising initiatives, helped to raise a total of over $200,000.”
Additional activities include volunteering.
The New York office helped out in a Long Island soup kitchen.
Its Australian used empty-leg charter flights to fly donations.
The flight took the donations to rural Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Recently, the company supported the relocation of 58 rescue cats in the United States.
Air Charter Service offers three different jet cards and ad hoc charter flights.
The company set a record with over 30,000 flights in 2024.
