Cargo, jet charter and jet card flight provider Air Charter Service is assisting in relief supplies following the Myanmar earthquake.
Air Charter Service is supporting the transportation of emergency relief supplies and aid following last Friday’s Myanmar earthquake.
It has arranged flights into Yangon and Bangkok to deliver vital aid.
More flights are scheduled to the region over the coming days.
“With Mandalay’s main airport currently unavailable, we have compiled the most recent airport information, along with aircraft availability in the region, and we will continue to keep a close eye on the airport situation, alongside aircraft availability in the region,” the company posted on its website.
It added, “At present, a wide variety of cargo aircraft is available, from light utility aircraft to widebody freighters, but as the situation changes, we will endeavor to make the information on this page as up-to-date as possible.”
Air Charter Service also tracks support equipment available at various airports.
Director of Government and Humanitarian Services Ben Dinsdale is coordinating the effort.
Business aviation companies are often on the front lines of disaster relief.
After Hurricane Dorian, Air Charter Service’s Miami office helped with relief supplies for the Bahamas.
More recently, it supported refugees after Russia invaded Ukraine.
