Air Charter Service has opened an office in Cologne, Germany.

It is the company’s fourth in the country.

The U.K.-based charter and jet card broker has sales offices in Munich and Frankfurt.

There is also a second ACS Time Critical headquarters in Frankfurt.

Air Charter Service Germany CEO Caroline Werf said, “We have been looking for some time at opening an office in Cologne.”

She continues, “It’s a key hub for the aircraft industry in Germany. Not only are there a great deal of professionals in charter aviation in the city and the surrounding area, but both the headquarters for the German Aerospace Center, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) are based there.”

Melanie Hentschel will head up the Cologne office.

Hentschel joined the company three years ago.

She brings a decade of experience, including Chapman Freeborn and Air Partner.

She started her career as a tour operator at DER Touristik.

The company has added offices in Milan and Montreal so far this year.

Air Charter Service has over 35 offices worldwide.
