A 19% gain in its private jet division helped Air Charter Service to an 8% overall increase and $280 million in Q1 2025 revenues.
UK-based Air Charter Service posted “a buoyant first financial quarter for 2025 despite global uncertainty.
Its private jets division powered the positive results.
Founder and Chairman Chris Leach says, “We are delighted with performance across the board at this stage of the year, but particularly happy with private jets, which saw a significant increase in revenue, up by 19.2%.”
Air Charter Service’s financial year begins on February 1st.
Leach continues, “We’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a number of low-value, high-volume contracts, with multiple daily flights on different continents.”
He says, “These have massively inflated our total private jet charter numbers, making them incomparable to the same period last year.”
Without the contracts private jet business “still increased by 13.3%, which is particularly pleasing when compared to the industry average, which only saw small growth over the first quarter of the year.”
Looking ahead, Leach expresses concerns.
“We are probably in the most uncertain period since Covid, and it is impossible to foresee the impact of various geo-political situations in the world on the charter market,” Leach says.
However, the company’s global footprint, diverse businesses, and portfolio of clients means it is “as well-placed as any company to deal with any fallout they may cause.”
Overall revenue increased 8% year-over-year to $280 million.
The company recently was named a finalist in World Travel Awards best private jet category.
