FlyExclusive adds South Florida float plane, Caravan

FlyExclusive is basing a Caravan and an amphibious float plane in Miami starting later this month to improve access to smaller destinations.

Members of FlyExclusive’s Jet Club and fractional ownership programs will have access to more airports and destinations across South Florida, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas starting later this month.

A Caravan and an amphibious float plane will be based at Miami’s Tamiami Executive Airport.

Chairman and CEO Jim Segrave said, “There’s a clear gap in the market—and the time is right to introduce a service our customers have been asking for.”

He added, “With the launch of our new amphibious float plane and land-based Caravan, we’re expanding our ability to connect travelers to the most sought-after island destinations in the region.”

Both aircraft will set up to eight passengers.

The Caravan service begins this month.

Float plane flights are expected to commence in mid-July.

The new service provides a convenient option for short runways and islands in the region.

Per the announcement, “capable of landing at any suitable water landing site, enabling direct access to private beaches, remote islands, and waterfront properties with no runway required.”

The Kinston, North Carolina-based flight provider is the fifth-largest U.S. private jet operator based on fractional and charter flight hours.
