Founder and CEO Jim Segrave says, “We are incredibly proud to join the Russell indexes, which reflects FlyExclusive’s ongoing commitment to performance, precision, and delivering unmatched private aviation experiences.”

He says, “This milestone increases the company’s exposure with institutional shareholders and supports our goal to drive long-term shareholder value as we continue to execute on our compelling growth strategy.”

According to the announcement, inclusion “provides flyExclusive with increased visibility within the institutional investor community.”

There are approximately $10.6 trillion in assets benchmarked against Russell’s U.S. indexes.

Looking Back

FlyExclusive had hoped to be added earlier this year.

The company’s CFO, Brad Garner, addressed the delay in its Q2 earnings call.

Regarding the delay in its inclusion in the Russell 2000, Garner explained, “The lock-up restriction on EG Sponsor, LLC’s common shares and warrants acquired during the de-SPAC process prevented our inclusion in the Russell indices for the June 30th inclusion date.”

At the time, he said, “Effective in July, the company waived the lock-up, which we believe now makes the company eligible for consideration for inclusion in the Russell indices.”

FlyX closed yesterday at $4.83.

Its 52-week low was $1.79.

Its high was $6.90.

The current market capitalization is $387.0 million.
