Wheels Up and Air Partner have strengthened their commercial team with three key appointments.

Joining the Delta Air Lines-backed flight provider are Tanya Weed, Maris Kuklis, and Luigi Contessi.

Weed joins as Director of New Business at Wheels Up.

Weed had been the senior vice president of sales at VistaJet since 2015.

Previously, she served as a sales director at Bombardier and Exclusive Resorts.

Kuklis joins Air Partner as a Business Development Manager.

He previously held sales positions at JetBlue, Etihad Airways, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and Dubai Tourism.

Contessi joins Air Partner as Regional Business Development Manager.

He brings over 30 years of experience with major airlines and private aviation flight providers, including stints with British Airways and Swissair.

The additions are based in the U.S. and Europe.

Earlier this summer, Wheels Up named Air Partner CEO Mark Briffa to head sales for the entire company.

Briffa joined Wheels Up when it purchased Air Partner in 2022.
