New jet card buyers with Jets.com can save the 7.5% Federal Excise Tax in a shutdown sale that ends when the government reopens.
During the government shutdown, Jets.com is offering no-FET jet cards.
The offer ends when the U.S. government reopens.
Co-founder Edgar Alacan says, “While the federal government is at a standstill, we’re keeping life moving by offering prospective clients a tax-free way to fly private.”
He continues, “Unlike the politicians, we’re taking action by temporarily absorbing flight taxes so new clients can experience the Jets.com difference first-hand.”
The jet cards include a money-back guarantee.
They are limited to new clients.
If you take your first flight within 60 days and wish to exit, you can request a refund, minus hours already flown.
The jet cards have regular Access Pass Jet Card terms, except light and midsize jets have daily minimums of 90 minutes instead of the standard 72 minutes.
Jets.com doesn’t charge taxi time.
Federal Excise Tax is 7.5%.
For light jets, the hourly rate drops from $7,990 to $7,435.
Midsize jet rates drop from $9,190 to $8,550.
Super Midsize clients fly at $10,040 per hour instead of $10,790.
Large cabin jet rates fall from $13,390 to $12,450 per hour.
The FET free flying applies until you exhaust the hours.
The program has 36 peak days and a 72-hour non-peak callout.
