FlyHouse said it has closed on its acquisition of Sun Air Jets.

The latter is a California–based aircraft management and charter operator.

FlyHouse is a 2021 start-up that has been implementing a two-tier growth strategy.

On one side is private jet management.

The other is creating an instant booking charter platform.

Per the press release, “The combination immediately expands FlyHouse’s operational depth, geographic presence, and technical capabilities, strengthening its ability to support aircraft owners and charter clients across a broader range of missions and markets.”

FlyHouse CEO Jack E. Lambert says, “Today marks a great milestone as we extend a warm welcome to the talented team of Sun Air Jets into the FlyHouse family.”

He adds, “This moment is more than just an acquisition – it’s a powerful step forward in our mission to disrupt the private aviation industry and create a global luxury brand that delivers a seamless, frictionless experience.”

Lambert says, “By bringing Sun Air Jets into FlyHouse, we are uniquely positioned to accelerate our vision and continue redefining private aviation into an exceptional experience.”

Sun Air Jets’ operations and personnel are now fully integrated into the FlyHouse network.

According to its website, the Sun Air Jets fleet includes the Gulfstream G650, G500, GIVSP, and G200.

There is also a Global Express, Citation X, and King Air 360ER.

A Global 6000, a second Citation X, and Nextant 400XTi are listed as coming soon.

The acquisition adds hangar, ramp, and service infrastructure at Van Nuys and Camarillo Airports.

That includes an FBO in Camarillo.

Sun Air Jets also has an FAA Part 145 repair station supporting maintenance and inspection activity.

The acquisition brings IS-BAO Stage 3, ARGUS Platinum Elite, and Wyvern Wingman Pro safety ratings.

FlyHouse Growth

In 2024, investor Benevolent Capital’s Grant Johnson told attendees at the Corporate Jet Investor conference, “My belief is if (FlyHouse does) what I think they can do in the years to come and they do it on a global scale, I will be disappointed if this isn’t worth two
to three billion on the low side in five years.”

Benevolent invested an undisclosed amount in October of last year.

In 2024, FlyHouse bought consumer charter platform JetASAP.

FlyHouse has been active on the sponsorship front, including with golfers, Monday Night Football, and ESPN’s College GameDay.
