ARGUS analysts are projecting a 1.9% increase in flights in 2026.
If the forecast holds, that would beat the previous all-time high of 5,502,093 flight hours from 2022.
That follows a 3.5% increase in 2025 compared to 2024.
Last year reversed two years of declines.

Only one month this year is expected to see less private jet activity than a year ago.
September is expected to be down by one-tenth of a point.
November (+3.0%) and August (+2.6%) are expected to have the best gains.
October and June are expected to be up by 2.3%.
July is pegged for a 2.2% increase.
Except for September, every month is expected to be up by at least 1.0% compared to 2025.
