Industry veteran Chip Schultz is the new CEO of Private Jet Center, the Part 135 charter operator arm of Jets.com.
Private Jet Center, the charter operator arm of Jets.com, has appointed Chip Schultz as chief executive officer.
Schultz joins Private Jet Center, also known as PJC, with more than two decades of aviation leadership experience.
His experience spans flight operations, safety, and executive management.
Most recently, he served as senior vice president of operations at FlyExclusive.
Before that, he held senior positions with Northern Jet Management and TMC Jets.
Schultz is a Navy veteran.
He holds multiple type ratings and has accumulated more than 6,800 flight hours throughout his career, including at Mesaba Airlines, Comair, and Frontier Airlines.
Jets.com COO Dan Satterlund said, “Chip is exactly the kind of leader PJC needs right now,” adding, “His operational expertise, safety background, and commitment to culture make him uniquely qualified to lead this next chapter in our growth.”
Satterlund continued, “His leadership will help us solidify our services and bring PJC and Jets.com even closer together.”

Jets.com bought what was then known as the Pittsburgh Jet Center in 2021.
It then rebranded it as Private Jet Center.
Private Jet Center was founded in 2006.
It offers aircraft management, private jet charter, maintenance, and an FBO in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Per the latest FAA data, Private Jet Center has 11 aircraft on its Part 135 charter certificate.
That includes six Citation XLS midsize jets and three CJ3 light jets.
It is projected to have over 8,000 flight hours in 2026.
