The operator has been named an honorary presenting partner of AeroAngel’s upcoming fundraising gala in Colorado, continuing their partnership.
FlyExclusive was recently named the honorary presenting partner for the Light Up the Sky gala, hosted by the non-profit charity AeroAngel.
The fundraising gala will be this September 19 at Centennial Airport, Colorado.
The event will feature live music, food and drinks, aircraft and car displays, and presentations about the charity’s work.
AeroAngel is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity based at Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado.
They provide flights for seriously ill children who need distant medical care and cannot safely travel on commercial airlines.
They fly patients and their families on jet flights, provided to the children and their families free of charge.
The organization relies on donations and volunteer pilots for its jet flights.
“Putting a child on an airplane after a transplant is not something you do with a press release in mind,” said Jim Segrave, CEO of FlyExclusive, in a press release. “It takes a crew willing to take the trip, a maintenance team that has the airplane ready, and a dispatcher who finds a way to make the schedule work.”
Segrave continued:
‘Our people have done that (jet flights) nearly 100 times for AeroAngel and they would do it 100 more. Being asked to stand alongside Mark and his team at Light Up the Sky means a great deal to all of us.’
The Light Up the Sky gala has several ticket and sponsorship levels, with tickets starting at $161.
Partnerships for the event, including in-gala benefits and recognition, start at $2,500. The highest tier, Presenting Partner, normally costs $25,000.
The gala includes event benefits such as online and on-site recognition, a speaking opportunity, VIP tables, and more.
FlyExclusive first started working with AeroAngel during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The operator flew a five-year-old from her home in Baltimore to Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in California for a bone marrow transplant.
A FlyExclusive aircraft owner and AeroAngel’s Emergency Flight Fund jointly funded the flight.
