Two additional Challenger 3500s will join AB Jets following delivery of its first three super-midsize private jets.
AB Jets passed a biennial review, a company-wide audit conducted by ARGUS, required to maintain its safety certification.
The charter operator also added a third Challenger 3500 to its charter fleet and increased the insurance liability limits on its super midsize aircraft.
AB Jets passed ARGUS safety and operations audit with zero findings, maintaining its Platinum Elite certificate.
“Completing an ARGUS Platinum Audit with zero findings is no small feat,” said Dave
Hardin, AB Jets Director of Safety and Compliance, in a press release.
Hardin continued:
‘It took ownership, focused work, and dedication from everyone on the team to make this happen. Every member of this organization should be extremely proud of the role they played in this achievement.’
Out of its three certification levels, Platinum Elite is the highest for charter jet operators.
Qualifying operators must hold a Platinum certificate consecutively, with minimal audit findings.
It also requires passing bi-yearly maintenance and operations reviews, and a biennial company-wide review.
Other Platinum Elite holders include Jet Aviation, Jet Linx, and Thrive Aviation.
AB Jet’s third Bombardier Challenger 3500, received last August, has become Part 135 certified and ready to fly charter.
They now have three super midsize Challenger 3500s on their FAA Part 135 certificate, with an order for two more underway.
AB Jets also raised the liability limits on their super midsize fleet, now the three Bombardier jets, to $250 million.
“Both initiatives reflect the same philosophy,” an AB Jets spokesperson told Private Jet Card Comparisons. “As we expand, we want to continue investing in areas that strengthen the protections, safety, and confidence we provide.”
She continued:
‘Our fleet expansion has been well received across both the wholesale and retail markets. Operationally its nonstop coast-to-coast capability gives greater mission flexibility for longer-range trips. Passengers appreciate the spacious flat-floor cabin, reliable connectivity, and generous baggage capacity. We’re seeing repeat demand for the STARLINK-equipped Challenger 3500s, as the combination of a floating fleet of new aircraft, true connectivity, and AB Jets’ premier service has proved compelling.’
Earlier this year, AB Jets launched a Challenger 3500 jet card.
