The U.K.-based jet charter broker joined a global motorsports business community, increasing its involvement in race logistics.
Chapman Freeborn joined BlackBook Motorsport, a global business community for motorsport racing.
The network includes races like Formula 1 and NASCAR and facilitates industry networking among teams, circuits, manufacturers, and suppliers, while reporting on industry news.
“Every race starts at a fixed time,” said Andy Hutchinson, UK Director of Passenger Charter at Chapman Freeborn, in a press release. “And everyone involved needs to be in place well before then.”
Hutchinson continued:
‘Aviation works to the same kind of deadline every day, so motorsport is a natural fit for us. Through the BlackBook community, we can engage directly with the decision-makers responsible for team travel, better understand how their requirements change throughout the season and respond quickly when schedules shift.’
The company wants to bring its travel offerings closer to motorsports teams, manufacturers and other partners.
That includes its courier services, which it expanded last May.
Per its website, BlackBook membership includes industry networking, event passes, social media features, and access to BlackBook facilities and lounges.
Other charter providers, like VistaJet, have also partnered with motorsports events as part of their member luxury travel benefits.
