The expansion includes office space, a crew training center, a parking garage, dining and event facilities, and is expected to open in 2029.
NetJets plans to expand its Columbus, Ohio, headquarters.
The expansion is expected to add more than 365,000 square feet, create over 800 new jobs, and be completed in early 2029.
The fractional operator has been headquartered in Columbus for over 60 years.
Two new buildings are planned on its Bridgeway Avenue campus.
They will include extra office space, a crew training center, a parking garage, and expanded dining and event facilities.
The development is being carried out in partnership with Daimler Group and Volconn. Both are architectural firms with experience in commercial real estate.
In particular, Daimler Group has also worked with NetJets before, having completed their current headquarters in 2012.
“Construction is expected to proceed in phases over the coming years and is subject to securing final legal and regulatory approvals,” said a NetJets spokesperson in a press release.
They continued:
‘Throughout the process, we will remain focused on maintaining the high standards of safety and service our owners know and expect, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Columbus for decades to come.’
NetJets is the world’s largest private jet operator.
It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
