XOJET has confirmed an ongoing fleet update program covering aircraft in its fleet of 41 Challenger 300s and Citation Xs. Chief Commercial Officer James Henderson tells Private Jet Card Comparisons, “XOJET is committed to a proactive program of refurbishing and maintaining the fleet.”
He notes, “In the last 18 months we have completed major interior refurbishments on 25% of the fleet, comprising nine Citation X’s and one Challenger. This involved all leather upholstery, wood paneling and interior metal trims,” adding, “This year we have replaced and refurbished the wood paneling on a further five aircraft with some additional interior improvements.”
Additionally, the company has launched a program with an outside vendor to do a detailed cleaning and leather/fabric maintenance and restoration overnight when each aircraft cycles through Teterboro Airport.
XOJET has been building hybrid offerings with both its own fleet and a “closed fleet” of charter aircraft via operators that meet its safety and operations standards. The company has said it is not interested in ordering more of its own aircraft but has been growing its brokerage business and team with now over 40 sales consultants. Earlier this year the company launched new Mid-Jet and Light Jet programs. Henderson said XOJET continues to look at the Heavy Jet market.
“We are confident that this proactive program for the interiors on our aircraft will enable us to ensure we consistently maintain the interiors and exceed the expectations or our clients,” Henderson said. He confirmed XOJET continues its ongoing relationship with JetSmarter, which he says has been driving digital bookings. The two companies are continuing to collaborate on an App for XOJET members that was expected to launch earlier this year. In launching its new programs this summer, XOJET added a membership fee and monthly dues making the comparison to other types of clubs. The fees, according to the company, support high levels of service to customers.
