Finding the right prepaid private aviation program or Jet Card can be difficult. There are over 250 programs out there and more than 30 providers. Individual providers have a myriad of solutions. But which one is right for you?  As part of its new website launched last week XOJET has added a function called Program Assistant that will help you identify which of its programs best fit your needs.

It starts by asking you how many hours you typically fly in a year with choices of less than 25 hours, 25 to 50 hours and more than 50 hours (screenshot below).

After making that selection, you are then asked to specify the duration of your typical flights with options under two hours, from two to four hours, four to six hours or over six hours for international travelers.

From there, you are asked if you preferred fixed rates or dynamic pricing, the latter being market-based pricing which could be either lower or higher than the fixed rate depending on where you are flying and if it is during a high-demand period.

After that, you are asked if you have a preference for the size of jets you want to fly in. In this portion, it might make sense for XOJET to add a range of passengers each aircraft size type will accommodate.

The next question asks about why you fly privately, with leisure and business travel options as well as enterprise, the latter being for companies that will have multiple executives traveling as part of the program.

XOJET then asks where you are based as some of their programs are regional.

Lastly, you are asked to select how you have flown previously, with various private aviation options such as charter, fractional and Jet Cards as well as commercial travel.

Based on your response, XOJET then gives you its recommendation for the program that best fits your needs based on your input to the questions.

The questions are easy to answer and give novices a good start on some of what they need to consider before choosing the right program. You may also want to read “Key questions to ask before you buy a private jet card.
