The Canadian online broker recently launched its first jet card program and is now expanding inflight food options.
Online private jet broker Jettly which recently launched its first jet card program has launched Jettly Eats. The new division is a portal for a network of catering and restaurant facilities that serve more than 1,800 airports around the world.
“There are currently more than 2,600 aviation catering facilities around the world,” said Justin Crabbe, Jettly’s CEO in a press release, adding “The goal of Jettly Eats is to unite all of them to one central platform and allow Jettly customers and travelers to arrange private jet in-flight catering from more than 1,800 airports worldwide. In the future, we hope that we can provide service to all 2600 facilities, regardless of location.”
The initial catering partner is Air Culinaire Worldwide, the largest network of private aviation catering kitchens. Catering partners are charged an annual membership fee to include their menu items on Jettly Eats. This positions the food items in front of Jettly Eats customers, who then have the option to purchase. As the catering items are delivered successfully, the partner’s balance is accrued, and a payout is distributed to the catering partner one time a month by Jettly Eats.
Jettly members will accumulate Jettly Eats credits each month for the life of their membership as a bonus. The credits can be used for onboard catering services during their flights. Bonus credits depend on the member’s membership level, starting at $20 per month for the Personal membership, with more robust options available.
“Our goal is to provide our travelers with access to a global team of highly-qualified, in-flight catering professionals,” continued Mr. Crabbe. “There will be someone available 24 hours per day, seven days a week and 365 days a year to ensure regardless of when you plan to travel, you can have the food desired.”
