The managed fleet jet card provider continues the trend of private jet companies partnering for exposure in high-profile sports venues

According to a press release, The Madison Square Garden Company and Delta Private Jets have inked a multi-year partnership that names Delta Private Jets as the exclusive naming partner of Madison Square Garden’s Event Level Suites. Delta Private Jets is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, one of Madison Square Garden’s longtime Signature Partners.

Delta Private Jets Event Level Suites, available for New York Rangers, New York Knicks, concerts and select special events, are luxurious private spaces on the ice or court level with premium menu offerings from signature chefs and sommeliers, in-suite bar, private suite attendant, VIP entrance with ticket concierge and more. This marks the first-ever sports and entertainment arena partnership for Delta Private Jets, with the deal providing extensive branding, associated signage and in-suite marketing across all 20 Delta Private Jets Event Level Suites, as well as the opportunity to create custom offers for suite holders.

Earlier this year Wheels Up signed a partnership with the Miami Marlins, while Sentient Jet has partnered with Churchill Downs. NetJets has a suite level partnership with the Columbus, Ohio NHL Blue Jackets. In Omaha, Nebraska, Silverhawk Aviation became a sponsor of Pinnacle Bank Arena. Delta Private Jets was the official private aviation partner of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the beginning of this month.

Mainline Delta and MSG renewed and expanded their 10-year marketing partnership in 2017, solidifying the airline as the Official Airline and Private Jet Carrier of Madison Square Garden, the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Beacon Theatre, the New York Knicks, the New York Rangers, the Montefiore Concert Series at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes and the Boston Calling Music Festival. Delta will continue to be the entitlement partner of the Delta Sky360 Club, and LED messaging will be on display during all Knicks and Rangers games. Delta and MSG also share a digital content platform to amplify key activations around the Knicks, Rangers, Christmas Spectacular and the Concert Series at Madison Square Garden.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the first sports and entertainment arena partnership for Delta Private Jets and look forward to working on opportunities that provide our customers with experiences that go above and beyond,” said Ron Skotarczak, Executive Vice President, Marketing Partnerships, The Madison Square Garden Company. “Our Event Level Suites bring fans closer to the action, combining some of the best seats in the Arena with first-class amenities. Delta Private Jets is an ideal naming partner for these Suites, and represents how, throughout our long-standing partnership with Delta Air Lines, we have continued to bring our audiences elevated and exclusive opportunities at Madison Square Garden.”

“Delta Private Jets and The Garden’s Event Level Suites are a clear match, both bringing our guests exclusive access and luxury service,” said Jeff Mihalic, President and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Private Jets. “This partnership underscores the strength and connectivity between Delta Air Lines, Delta Private Jets and MSG, and our team is proud to grow our relationship with such an iconic sports and entertainment company.”

Delta Private Jets recently increased the entry point of its jet card program from $100,000 to $150,000. The program enables members to choose a cabin category of their choice for each flight without interchange fees. Its entire managed fleet is WiFi enabled.
