Sentient Jet is once again partnering with Chef Bobby Flay while its Derby Air program allows non-members to book private jet flights for the big race

Sentient Jet, a Directional Aviation company, earlier today announced its plans for the 2018 Kentucky Derby as the Preferred Private Aviation Partner of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, Longines Kentucky Oaks, and Churchill Downs Racetrack. It’s the third year in a row. In addition to flying customers to and from the excitement, there will be an exclusive breakfast hosted by Sentient Jet Brand Ambassador and horseracing aficionado, Chef Bobby Flay

“We are honored to reaffirm our longstanding support of the horseracing community, which so many of our Cardholders are involved in, by continuing our partnership with one of private aviation’s most popular sporting events, the Kentucky Derby,” said Andrew Collins, president and CEO of Sentient Jet. “We look forward to another exciting weekend of races in Louisville at horseracing’s most highly anticipated event and are thrilled to offer Cardholders the most convenient and luxurious way to enjoy the races from start to finish.”

Building on the tradition established in 2017, Sentient will kick off the races with a Derby Day Breakfast hosted by Bobby Flay on Saturday, May 5 at Louisville’s chic 21c Museum Hotel. Flay, a passionate horseracing fan will prepare a Kentucky-inspired menu featuring dishes like Johnny Cake Waffles with Blackberry Butter, Peach and Pecan Salad and Bourbon Maple Syrup and specialty cocktails like the bourbon-based Kentucky 95 and Blood Orange Mimosas for Cardholders. Additionally, Flay will share his betting tips and picks for the races.

“There’s no place like Kentucky for enjoying a day at the races. Home to the Bourbon Trail and a long legacy of thoroughbreds, it’s the ultimate destination for celebrating the sport,” said Flay. “I’m looking forward to kicking off one of the most exciting sporting events with Sentient Jet this spring with a breakfast inspired by the heart of horseracing country.”

Sentient Jet will offer travelers the most seamless way to travel to the races with Derby Air powered by Sentient Jet, which allows non-cardholders to book private jet travel to and from Louisville without a Jet Card commitment. Both Cardholders and Derby Air travelers flying to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby and Oaks will enjoy a specially curated Kentucky Derby experience including a bespoke in-flight cocktail created by Flay. Sentient Jet Cardholders are offered the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Derby’s other hospitality venues during their exclusive pre-sale period.

Sentient Jet was named Preferred Private Aviation Partner of the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, and Churchill Downs in a multi-year agreement in 2016. The partnership expanded the company’s longtime presence in the horseracing community as a sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships and Fasig-Tipton.

Sentient Jet offers its 25-Hour Jet Card in four jet-size options, allowing clients to purchase flight time on Light, Mid, Super-Mid, and Heavy aircraft as well as in two age classes (Preferred and Select), starting at just $124,825. The company last year announced the SJ25+ Jet Card, which starts at $224,275 and offers Cardholders guaranteed access to Super-Mid Size Jets, all of which are Wi-Fi enabled.
