Dumont Jets is promoting its Dassault Falcon 2000 Santos Jet Card program by offering a free demo flight up to five hours within the Continental U.S. After you take your flight, if you decide to purchase a 25-hour Falcon 2000 Jet Card, your flight is free. The rate is $9,000 per hour plus 7.5% Federal Excise Tax. If you aren’t completely satisfied with the Falcon 2000 after your flight, Dumont Jets will offer the flight at a 25% discount with no further commitment, so a $6,750 hourly rate for your test flight.
Dumont’s jet card program includes the ability to refund your unused deposit, guaranteed availability with fixed rates and no blackout dates, complimentary WiFi and no repositioning fees or fuel surcharges. You can also interchange between categories, including light, medium, super midsize and heavy jets. The company has been buying and upgrading Falcon 2000 that are leaving the NetJets feet.
In terms of the math, $9,000 times 25 hours equals $225,000 and if you take a five-hour free demo flight, dividing by 30 hours means you paid $7,500 per hour spread across your total flights. You need to take your free flight between now and December 31, 2018. To make your reservations you need to contact Dumont’s director of jet cards Chris Tasca at (401)623-9416 or E-mail Chris.Tasca@DumontGroup.com.
