Fractional share, lease and jet card fleet operator Flexjet is auctioning a Closing Night of Hamilton in Puerto Rico trip

Flexjet and leading auction site for cause, Charitybuzz, have partnered to bring Hamilton fans the ultimate travel experience to Closing Night of Hamilton in Puerto Rico, plus VIP after-party access: Charitybuzz.com/Flexjet.

According to a press release received by Private Jet Card Comparisons, the high bidder and three guests will fly in private luxury aboard Flexjet’s “The Jet Where It Happens” to see Closing Night of Hamilton at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, where Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will be reprising his lead role as Alexander Hamilton. The Hamilton-themed party jet will be hosted by original cast member and Tony Award winner Renee Elise Goldsberry, and will feature a Hamilton-inspired menu, specialty drinks, Hamilton trivia games, karaoke and special Hamilton merchandise to take home.

“The Jet Where It Happens” will fly from White Plains, NY, to San Juan, PR, on January 26, 2019, and return January 28. In San Juan, the winner will receive four VIP house seats to the Closing Night matinee on January 27, plus VIP access to the star-studded after-party with Goldsberry, Miranda and the cast.

Flexjet’s “The Jet Where It Happens” Charitybuzz auction benefits the Flamboyan Arts Fund, which was created by Miranda, his family and the producers of Hamilton, in partnership with the Flamboyan Foundation, to nurture the island’s vibrant arts and culture during the rebuilding following Hurricane Maria. The Flamboyan Arts Fund support institutions and arts groups, independent artists, musicians, galleries and more.

“When disasters like Maria strike, the area our organization usually helps the most is by flying in needed relief workers and supplies right after,” said Flexjet CEO Michael Silvestro.   “What better way to keep the spotlight on Puerto Rico in its continued time of need than the cultural phenomenon that is Hamilton and use of a Flexjet aircraft not just as a vehicle for travel, but fundraising for a very worthy cause via Charitybuzz.”

“You will be in ‘The Jet Where It Happens’ and in ‘The Room Where It Happens’ – we’re thrilled to provide this fun, memorable, never-before-seen luxury experience to generous auction winners,” said Jan Friedlander Svendsen, Chief Creative Officer for Charity Network, Charitybuzz’s parent company. “In addition to the excitement of the travel experience itself, this is also an encouraging, important moment in the philanthropy space to witness Flexjet’s commitment to giving back, and we’re honored to be partnering with them.”

Charitybuzz has supported the Flamboyan Arts Fund with multiple auctions for Hamilton Puerto Rico tickets over the past few months – it was the only platform to buy Hamilton Puerto Rico tickets prior to the public sale in November. Charitybuzz brings its online community of bidders exclusive opportunities to live their dreams and make a difference. Each auction item benefits a non-profit organization working to make a positive impact – from arts programming to cancer research.

“The Jet Where It Happens” auction is live at Charitybuzz.com/Flexjet through Dec. 20. Flexjet sells jet cards in 25 and 50 hours on its Embraer Phenom 300 and Bombardier Challenger 350 fleet. You can read more about Flexjet’s jet card programs here.
