The Trump Treasury Secretary was never paid after receiving a judgment against Paul Svensen’s jet card brokerage

According to The New York Post, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin filed a Dec. 6 Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit against JetCard Plus through Mnuchin, Inc.

Mnuchin’s problems with JetCard Plus were first reported by Bloomberg in May.

At that time, a Florida judge had ruled in his favor awarding him $219,692, a deposit with JetCard Plus that was never returned.

Paul Svensen, the CEO of JetCard Plus has a checkered past with a variety of lawsuits both by and against him.

In September, Private Jet Card Comparisons reported on links between Svensen and UberJets, a Massachusetts-based private jet broker with offices in New York.

Like both JetCard Plus and Jet Network, both of which closed, UberJets is selling memberships providing private jet flights.

No money for Mnuchin

The Post reported, “Steve Mnuchin’s bid to get a hefty payment from a private jet company is still grounded.”

It said the new action was a follow-up to not getting paid in Florida.

Private Jet Card Comparisons was unable to obtain a copy of the new lawsuit.
