Aero is extending its jet sharing private flights by adding a Van Nuys to Napa route and extending its scheduled flights to Aspen

Jet sharing scheduled private aviation service Aero launched by Uber co-founder Garrett Camp is adding a second route. The new flights were first reported by Aviation International News last week.

The first flight linking Van Nuys and Napa is scheduled for April 1. There are nine roundtrips set for May, eight in June, then nine in July and August, and two in September. Flights operate on Fridays and Sundays and are all priced at $1,000 per seat each way.

Northbound flights depart at 11 am Fridays and 3:40 pm on Sundays. Friday returns from Napa depart at 6 pm, while Sunday departures are at 6:10 pm.

The new flights to Napa are in addition to Aero’s schedule to Aspen. It features eight roundtrips for May, 12 more in June, 14 in July, 13 in August, and three so far for September. Aspen flights are priced at $1,600 per seat each way.

Aero’s service features 16 seats in a 1 x 1 configuration on Embraer 135 regional jets. It uses FBOs instead of regular passenger terminals. Each seat has 43 inches of pitch. That’s more than the typical narrow-body first class, which ranges from 36 to 38 inches.
