Wheels Up is cutting rates for members and nonmembers for flights through July 31, 2023.

It’s part of a program called, “Sun, sand, and summer savings.”

Beginning today, Wheels Up is cutting King Air hourly rates to $4,495, light jets to $6,495, midsize jets to $7,495, and super-mid aircraft to $8,570.

Rates are exclusive of FET and fuel surcharges.

The discounts range from 11%-to-13% for pay-as-you-fly members. Core members with fund accounts get 5%-to-9% savings below the normal capped rates.

The King Air rates are available only in the East Region. All rates are applicable only within or between the Wheels Up East and West regions.

During the promotional period, there are 12 excluded dates.

Nonmembers pay an extra $250 booking fee compared to the standard $500 fee.

Daily minimums are 60 minutes for King Air turboprops, 90 minutes for light jets 102 minutes for midsize jets. Minimums include taxi time.

Wheels Up’s pricing strategy

Last month, Wheels Up announced it was cutting the area it offers capped hourly rates. The move will impact around 20% of members, although it is keeping guarantees until they expire.

Speaking at the Jefferies Business Aviation Conference, CFO and Interim CEO Todd Smith said Wheels Up plans to be more aggressive with pricing on low-demand dates.
