Chapman Freeborn’s parent saw adjusted EBITDA increase 31% to €316 million during Q3 2023 as revenue increased to €1.64 billion.
Charter broker Chapman Freeborn’s parent, Avia Solutions Group, has reported Q3 results.
Avia Solutions Group is a large aircraft, crew, maintenance, and Insurance provider (ACMI) operating a fleet of 197 aircraft.
In addition to the U.K.-based charter broker, there are 100 subsidiaries, including SmartLynx Airlines, Avion Express, Bluebird Nordic, BBN Indonesia Airlines, and KlasJet.
The group also provides MRO, pilot and crew training, and ground handling services.
It employs 11,700 highly people and operates in 68 countries worldwide.
It bought Chapman Freeborn in 2019.
For Q3 2023, Avia reported an adjusted EBITDA of €316 million, representing a 31% growth compared to the same period last year when it was €242 million.
At the same time, the group’s revenue increased by Chapman Freeborn’s parent saw adjusted EBITDA increase 31% to €316 million during Q3 2023. compared to €1.34 billion for the same period in the previous year.
CEO Jonas Janukenas said, “The year 2023, especially the extremely active summer season, demonstrated the tremendous need for ACMI services in the aviation industry worldwide.”
During the latest quarter, the group expanded its fleet with additional passenger and cargo jets.
Europe accounted for most of the group’s revenue (69.4%), followed by Asia (19.2%), North and South America (5.8%), Africa (3.9%), and Australia and the Pacific (1.1%).
The group does not break out results for individual units.
Chapman Freeborn recently launched its first membership program.
