After acquiring Wheels Up Aircraft Management last year, Airshare is bulking up that group’s sales talent.

Pete Kiernan has joined Airshare as Vice President of Sales for its Aircraft Management division.

Kiernan joined from Elevate Aviation Group, where he held a similar position.

He brings over 30 years of industry experience, including Jet Aviation, Wheels Up, Landmark Aviation, and Executive Jet Management.

At Airshare, Kiernan will be responsible for nationwide aircraft management sales, emphasizing East Coast markets.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to work with the Airshare leadership team and be part of a world-class innovator in private aviation with an impeccable reputation,” said Kiernan.

He added, “I look forward to growing the managed aircraft fleet in new markets while continuing to deliver the highest level of service and support to our current customer base.”

“Pete brings a wealth of experience in aircraft management and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service,” said KC Ihlefeld, EVP of Aircraft Management. “We are thrilled to add such an accomplished sales executive to our team, and we’re confident he will make an immediate impact for us at Airshare.”

Airshare has tripled the size of its managed fleet through the acquisition and now operates 150 aircraft nationwide.

The company had already been adding senior-level sales executive to support their recent growth in this division.

Last year, it expanded fractional sales to Florida.
