FlyExlcusive is bulking up its fractional sales with the appointment of Drake Sneed.

Sneed joins as Senior Vice President of Fractional Sales, a newly created position.

“We’re thrilled to have Drake on board to lead business development efforts for our fractional program, as it becomes an increasingly important growth driver for our business,” said Brad Blettner, Chief Revenue Officer of flyExclusive.

He added, “Drake is a seasoned business development professional with deep knowledge and experience in the private aviation industry. He will be instrumental in bringing our fractional ownership product to current and future customers as our world-class fleet continues to expand.”

Sneed was SVP at Wheels Up from 2014 through 2022.

“Working directly with customers to help them achieve their ideal private flying experience has been a passion of mine,” Sneed said.

He added, “As the premier owner/operator in private aviation, flyExclusive is unmatched in its ability to offer fractional ownership and flexible, reliable membership programs. I’m incredibly excited to join the team to continue to build upon the strong momentum of flyExclusive’s fractional offering.”

Before entering the private aviation space, Sneed spent over 10 years as a partner at Roberts + Rogers. It’s a premium producer and grower of award-winning wines.

He is also a board member of VetPawer, a technology company. The firm helps veterinary practices communicate and engage with their clients.

Sneed holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Ohio State University and resides in Columbus, Ohio, with his family.

FlyExclusive fractional ownership

In 2022, FlyExclusive launched its first foray into fractional ownership with new aircraft.

As of December, it had taken delivery of its first five Citation CJ3+s.

In January, it secured a $25.8 million line of credit to fund continued growth of its fractional share program.

Projections call for it to take as many as 40 fractional aircraft over the next several years.

It also offers fractional ownership on preowned jets.
