Orlando-based Stratos Jet Charters is adding CFO and COO positions as it plots continued growth.
On-demand and jet card broker Stratos Jet Charters is expanding its executive suite.
Darren Engle (pictured left) becomes the Chief Operating Officer, while David Borgerding is the Chief Financial Officer.
According to the announcement, both will work closely with President Joel Thomas to “operationalize the organization, building on its success over the last two decades, and further accelerate its growth.”
Engle was previously CFO at GiddyUp.
After starting his career with Siemens, he has held senior positions at Acudyn, Faz Technology, and Multicore Photonics.
Borgerding was previously a partner at Hershey Management Group, LLC.
“Stratos Jets is founded on the continual pursuit of excellence, and I couldn’t think of two better people who embody this to help us continuously raise the bar of professionalism in the private jet charter industry,” said Thomas.
Thomas added, “Darren and David both have a deep understanding of the inner workings of an organization and how to effectively propel its success; on top of that, they have tremendous enthusiasm for Stratos Jets that will be pivotal to our evolving vision for the company.”
The company said the additions come after “multiple years of strong growth.”
It is planning to increase technology development and expand partnerships.
