Top 10 fractional/charter operator Jet Linx is growing its managed fleet with newer and larger aircraft after going nationwide.
Jet Linx has added a factory-new 2024 Cessna Citation XLS Gen 2 to its nationwide fleet of managed aircraft, the company said. This is its 24th new management contract of the year.
The nation’s 8th-largest charter/fractional operator has been focusing on winning newer and larger aircraft management contracts after its decision last year to manage aircraft at any location nationwide instead of near its approximate 20 previous base airports.
Through June, Jet Linx saw a flying increase of 3.3% despite the down market.
This year’s new management agreements include the Cessna Citation Latitude, Cessna Citation CJ4, Cessna Citation XLS+, and Dassault Falcon 7X.
Its fleet now consists of 110 aircraft composed of 38 unique types.
There are 18 light jets, 33 midsize jets, 34 super-midsize aircraft, and 25 large cabin jets.
“The addition of the Citation XLS Gen 2 to our fleet further solidifies Jet Linx’s position as a leader in the aircraft management industry,” said CEO Brent Wouters.
He added, “We remain steadfast in our commitment to strategic growth and innovation while offering best-in-class value and industry-leading safety. This recent aircraft addition exemplifies our vision of providing our clients with access to the most advanced and capable private jets in the industry.”
Wouters was named CEO in July 2023, and Jamie Walker became chairman.
Jet Linx offers a hybrid jet card using its fleet and third-party operators.
