Founder Segard becomes Executive Chairman of LunaJets while Launay takes the CEO role as the Geneva-based private flight provider expands.
Geneva-based LunaJets, which has been expanding in locations and business lines, has elevated its top two executives.
Founder Eymeric Segard (pictured left) will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the newly formed holding company, Luna Aviation Holding.
He will oversee the strategic vision and governance of the group.
Segard launched the private aviation services company in 2007, expanding it to over $150 million in private jet charter sales and more than 90 employees.
LunaJets anticipates a 15% year-over-year revenue increase.
The company plans to expand its footprint with new office openings in 2025.
Current locations include London, Riga, Paris, Dubai, Madrid, Monaco, Zurich, and Gstaad.
The company has won several awards as the best employer in Switzerland.
Segard says, “As our group continues to grow and diversify, now is the right time to separate the roles of CEO and Chairman.”
Guillaume Launay becomes Chief Executive Officer of the company and all its affiliate entities, effective in January.
Segard adds, “Guillaume is an exceptional leader. He is supported by a dedicated team of young, motivated managers and employees who are committed to our shared vision.”
Launay joined LunaJets in 2016 as a sales executive, then became Global Sales Director and Managing Director.
He is a graduate of École Hôtelière de Lausanne, known as EHL.
Before switching to private aviation, Launay worked in the hotel and hospitality industry in the U.K. and Morocco.
Launay was elevated to his current position earlier this year as part of a plan to diversify and grow.
Segard will retain leadership of LunaSolutions, the group’s sales and acquisition division, formed in January.
Launay says, “I am deeply honored to succeed Eymeric at the helm of the company he founded in 2007. Over the years, we have expanded our leadership beyond private jets to include group charter and sales and acquisitions services, and I look forward to working with our incredible team of over 90 employees to continue driving innovation and client satisfaction.”
